buy/rent a bike in namibia to go to kenya
 

Hello chaps,

we have a last minute problem, as usual....
we're 3 riders with 3 bikes until now....
because one bike is no more and we'll leave Munich to Windhoek next week....
we're trying any possible solution to replace the missing bike.
one of the idea is to try to find a bike in Namibia.
but the plan is to go to kenya with it.....

if someone has a nice idea, please, feel free to share it with us as we're a bit doomed at the moment.. :D

If you need a place to store that bike in Kenya after the trip, you are welcome to put it in my garage, here on our farm in Naivasha.
It allready has a bike of a German couple but still plenty of space.
Maybe this makes it easier to make any arrangement.

XT660s in Swakopmund
 

Hi,

the market in Namibia is very small you need some luck to find a bike.

I have been early December in Swakopmund, the Yamaha Dealer there had two used XT660R on the floor. Price was around 45000.
