Bike is parked in covered secure parking space at my sons rental apartment in Providencia. He doesn’t have a car so it’s vacant.
I have booked flights today, arriving SCL 30th January

unfortunately Andrew has passed away. The extension can be done online.

The online form didn’t work at the time we tried in Andrews case. Maybe it is fixed now. Alternatively you would have to look up an e-mail address and reach out directly to aduanas.

The visa can also be extended online. In general it is easier (and at times cheaper) to do a border run towards Argentina.

The online form is not working for me either (TVIP number doesn't seem to match my passport number... although the writing on the form is incredibly hard to make out so I could be entering the wrong values).

I'm going to email the Arica Customs office and see what comes of it.

Unfortunately, border runs do not work for Aussies as we need to get visa's prior to arrival.

I will request another visa prior to my return in January to save some $$$.

Will keep you posted with how it pans out.
