:funmeterno:Raul, I know - cold as cold can be. However, I can't wait. I don't have the years left! My bike is in storage in Ushuaia. So I will wrap up warm and ride very slowly to the ferry. It gets too awful, I can put the bike on a truck! It is only a little bike: Honda 125. As to the women, I am 74 and in retirement!

So maybe I'll put the bike on a truck to Puerto Natales! It is a small bike, Honda 125. However it got me safely south from Mexico with only three punctures. blog at home

Hi Josh, great. I've only discovered message boards recently. They are a source of endless small pleasures and some great advice. The "Asian fellow", Ming, was doing a runner from a high-powered job that he hated and was being chased by Corporate emails begging him to return. He has done so - though only for a year. Once a runner, you get the taste for the running and the freedom. Hopefully he and I will ride across China in 2008. He assures me that Chinese respect old people. Sounds good! I'll be 75... simon
