Africa May 2016
I'm currently costing up a trip over to Morocco in May 2016.
We will b taking 3 landrovers, my bike and possibly another bike if my mate grown some cahoonas! I have been looking into using the trip as a springboard to doing a solo trip down to South Africa, but given the recent unrest this is looking complex! (i suppose these trips always will be!). I've been doing a bit of research in how to get from Morocco over to Sudan. Libya may by then be ok to travel into, but I cant find much info on Chad and Niger which is frustrating, as I'm sure these countries would be awesome to see. I'm probably going with a KTM 990. I'm still trying out different outfits to see how they handle. Lucky for me there's loads of dealers around with lots of different models to try. I've done lots of trip planning in Europe before which have all been a great success, and am really into finding interesting places to visit on the Big Continent. I would love to hear from anyone who may be doing a similar trip at that time, or any ideas for places to visit! Chris |

Looking at doing a similar solo trip down to S.A from London in August 2016 on a Dr350 or XR400. Found an impressive blog of photos and info on the following Facebook page.
