We crossed Russia, Mongolia etc. and had only once troubles with the partol, the partol station hadn't partol :P Your only "problem"...well it's not a problem because you have the time when your are travelling...it's the visa, but take it easy! Everything is possible! We meet in Laos and Vietnam a guy from India too.

Wow, All through Russia and Mongolia, that amazing. Its a relief to hear a personal experience and to know that I dont have to bother about something, even so as a safety measure, I am considering downsizing from 40 liters to 10 liters, in cases of emergency
Yea, the visas are a pain. Since my tour is so long, I have to consider timing very well, the Schengen countries have an awesome duration for my visit and I can flex around them very well, but its the further countries that I am having troubles with. Visa expiry within 3-6 months of application is a bother |
