Marco, your travel across Africa was epic, and I followed it with great enthusiast. You'll have to come visit me in Korea, and I promise you I'll buy you a couple of beers to show you my gratitude for your awesomeness :) Come and teach English here or something, you'll have a good job and a great experience.

You took a wrong turn in Sydney, you should have done Darwin, Singapore, into Asia, India, Pakistan, China, Russia, the Stans and Europe. Come back and start again!! Oh and next time get your wife to ride with you!!!

Marco i can not begin to say how much ive enjoyed reading your trip
 

For the last week or so any spare time i have ,ive read your story ,some times in percular places (like driving tractors,dont worry it drives its self by satellite,it beeps at me when its getting close to the end of the field)I have to say I was late to work the day i read you accident report ,had my heat in my mouth,so glad you got the help you needed.I must say that Africa has been on my to do list for some time ,of course being from a western country you worry about all the negitive stories you see /read in the news ,I must say you have allayed much of my worries.Thanks again for a wonderful story ,have enjoyed your photography too,i wish you every success in the future.Noel

Thanks guys and girls, all of you! You might be surprised by this but quite often during the trip I was thinking of all the keen HUBB readers, people keen on adventure. Just as I was reading many long nights in the years before the trip. Cheers for your support (and I really consider it a big support and it makes me quite happy to know someone is reading my stuff!).

Just this week I got my little Suzuki to her favourite Suzuki dealer. The one I bought her from. Just for a checkup because incredibly there is still warranty on her. You should have seen the expression on their face when they saw the bike and I told them it's less then two years old. "Well, it's been through a lot!". Well, yeah.
And you know what they found? That the gear shift lever, the handle bar and the left foot peg is slightly bent. Apart from that no issues at all! Mechanically still top. Cool hey? After 35000km of hard core travelling!

So yeah, I'm sure there will be a time to take the turn off to Korea, Singapore, Darwin. Sometimes I already find myself dreaming about the world while sitting back in the office. (Often I feel like swapping the office for a tractor in QLD anyway).

Oh, and KateAndWill, I actually reserved my pillion seat for the wife I'd meet along the way somewhere. Although there where many offers I think I need to try again :)
