Yep, I got here the other day, but it has taken me this long to go get the photo.

The distance on the sign is the length of the PanAmerican Highway from Prudhoe Bay to here.

I actually completed 37,390km, so not as straight as some eh :)

From here on I am heading up to BA, with some luck I may get to sell the bike down here, I will be coming back to the states, but on foot :)

Cheers

Well done!
Is that the most photographed sign in the world?

Grant Johnson 24 Jan 2010 00:31

Good onya Richard - I bet it feels great to reach that sign - I know it did for us! :)

Best of luck with selling the bike - be careful. You could just ride it to the States - it's only a short jaunt up the road... ;)

Going to be back in Aus in time to do a talk at the HU Meeting in April? Love to have you do a talk on your trip for us. See http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/meetings/presenters to do a talk, and http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/mee...tralia2010.php for some details on the meeting.

Hi Grant and thanks, it was agreat feeling :)

I don't have the time to ride to the states, but I wanted to do the east coast, maybe next time.

I will try and make the meeting, it all depends on real life when I get back home

Hi and thanks

The Vstrom is fine, good as ever, a few failures of after market gadgets are keeping me on my toes though ;)
