A Bit Harsh

Oooh now that all seems a bit harsh. I think it's what you make of it, and how you look at it. I've been slowley moving away from London and each and every move I make makes me feel a more and more happy with the country. Perhaps its time for you guys to look at it from another angle.

Anyhow, I'm sure I can't persuade you to like it, but I would definately stand up for it. It's not perfect but its got a lot going for it if you just look. Just like anywhere.

Uk

It used to have, and i'm as patriotic as the next man but i'm finding it harder and harder to defend and stay in the place. I genuinely believe it's going to get a lot worse and what used to be defined as britishness is lost forever, you only have to go into a town centre anywhere in the country on a saturday night to see it , and i've lived all over the country.:thumbdown:the british sense of fairness is gone, I feel hard done by, and i'm not the only one, by a system, social, legal and welfare that I have contributed to all my working life. There is little justice in the uk today.

Illustratedman,
I think, indeed, Captain W.E. Johns is turning in his grave. The problem with most of the UK though, is simply over population. That's why the North is nice and the South ain't, nothing to do with the people, just the number of them. I confess, English motorways make me want to binge drink, fight someone and be sick on my slutty girlfriend (if I had one).
Matt :)

Can't say I like the place either, just spent a day slogging my guts out at my local authority pissing my own taxes up against the wall on a load of ingrate b$%&*@s that just want to get hammered and break things.....

But when I'm away I have to say that nowhere does breakfast or tea like the good old UK.....

All clouds have swings and roundabouts, and lets not forget that we can earn the mighty pound. Australia might have great weather, fantastic scenery, loads of space and a handful of fairly chilled out residents, but try travelling the world when you've been earning Kangaroobles!
