Shoei
I'm going to have a look at the new Shoei Hornet adventure helmet. Like the previous model, and like helmets from other manufacturers, the peak is attached at three distinct points. Would I be correct in assuming that this makes the peak more stable at motorway speeds? I have tried the Arai x4 and, whilst extremely comfortable to wear, the peak was no good.
Any info from those who have used helmets like this would be gratefully received! |
I have the Shoei Hornet helmet and have found the peak to be great, the link is to the model and colour I have although I got it from J&S in Doncaster
Shoei Hornet DS Sonora TC-8 - FC-Moto English I also got it with the inner on the visor to prevent misting up and it works a treat. As for noise, i can not comment as I wear earplugs anyway https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7588/...f3df6ae9_b.jpgWayne_20140626_056 by Wayne 66, on Flickr Wayne |
Good to hear, thanks. I'm not worried about noise, as I too always wear ear plugs.

Shoei is a great brand. Glad you find, the desired helmet.
