Metal Mule (Scorpion) Exhaust for F800GS
 

It could be my dubious internet search skills, but I'm strugging to find any information about the MM Exhaust. I know it's lighter, thinner and potentially improves the mid range, but what I'm really inetersted in is whether it adversely affects the mpg. Does anyone have any experience (positive or otherwise) with this exhaust? I'm currently getting around 60mpg and am worried this might fall if I swap. ?c?

My F800GS has had the MM setup on it from new. Now on 23,000 miles and returning 58 to the gallon as an average, and I always ride with the boxes and a top box on, so I'd say the MPG is totally unaffected.

Was returning 73 MPG when riding in the Alps / dolomites last August, and the consumption only really drop when I get up above 65mph.

Thanks for that, dave ett. The people at MM confirm what you've said, too. Globebusters, who now use MM panniers / exhausts have, apparently, not noticed any ill effects either.
