My HG experience
 

Can I just add one more HG bashing post.
I got a full Hein Gericke cruise suit just as I started my trip 13 months ago, thinking I'd buy expensive and not have to worry about it for a decade or so.

But it's been entirely crap. It leaks in the lightest of rain showers, despite a full covering of goretex. It looks pretty cool, and I think the armour is of a good quality, but that's not nearly enough from a product of this price.
I emailed HG with a lightly worded disappointment in their products, and heard nothing back.

I'll not buy another HG product, unless I hear some very very positive unbiased reviews.
