A bet you'd lose, it takes my 220lbs easily and has done every camping trip this year. The legs may look flimsy but they are thick walled decent duralumin not tent poles. Apart from not having helinox stitched into the seat there really isn't any difference.
The feet do sink into the ground though, solved by making a couple of cross pieces in slightly larger tubes that the feet sit in, or I've seen one with hiking stick feet put on which seemed to work ok

Mine has no problems.

Still no problems but I did go back to the original rubberends and tennisballs for soft ground, the walking stick ends got damaged.

Failed

I have one and have had to repair it a couple of times. The pockets on the corners where the support poles go in fail and the poles push through. Happened to mine and to one other that I know of.

Having sat on an original I have to say it was very comfy. At about 1/5th of the price of an original I know what our chairs will be !
The poles coming through the fabric is easily overcome if you sew in some pieces of an old HD innertube in the receiving pockets.

These look VERY similar to to helinox.

My guess is that they come from the same factory but without the Touratech effect.

Ie.... Put a stamp on it and charge twice the price doh

Portable Folding Camping Stool Chair Seat with Bag Fishing Festival Picnic BBQ | eBay

These are not torotech they are Heliox.
The answer is in most cases read small print, i.e. if it only takes 150 lbs no good to me!

The chair was perfect, it didn't let me down and I found it really comfortable. You've got to be carefully where you choose to sit otherwise the legs will sink into the ground, like the original. I know this is a bit brief but it's a seat and it done it's job very well.

I'll try and keep this updated. So far so good. :thumbup1:

I use some puks or old coke / Beer cans
