I have an earlier generation Kilimanjaro and HT2 pants .
The pants are 100% waterproof and warm , too warm for hot summer days but perfect for cool morning rides and torrential rain .I have removed the armour and use them as overpants ,over some light armoured trousers .
The jacket I don't use anymore because it's not 100% waterproof ,there are too many pockets and that's where the water gets in at the front "cargo" pockets .Not a good idea in my opinion to rely on a thin strip for a seal .[ and who needs so many huge pockets anyway ?]The new Kilis have similar pockets and don't appeal to me .However with the liner out and all the vents open it was tolerable in high 30's centigrade temps.
The Rainier jacket looks to have a better pocket arrangement .
FirstGear stuff is good quality for the price .
