Mornin'
I wear my BMW Rallye suit everyday for commuting, come rain or shine and always wear the trousers over the boots. Suppose it helps having chicken legs though! |
My hubby has 18.5" of solid muscle and it is a big problem sometimes!! :rolleyes2:
Everything goes on the inside because nothing fits outside. If you find the magic solution, please let us know. |
[QUOTE=tmotten;176254]Come on guys. I'm seriously upset. I was so looking forward to those boots. I suppose it is a bit funny though.
" Thanks for the constructive comments. I take it if I would have not mentioned the B word you wouldn't have bothered writing anything? " Don't take it to heart, I was having a dig at the Beemer snobs . I've got some BMW gear myself , [ OMG ! what did I just say ?] |
it doesnt help you with your kit i know dodger, but in the warm weather i use kevlar hardas jeans from giali and they have a zipped gusset on the calf which is very useful as i can open them up to get them over my boots.
when i was a young fool i just wore normal jeans tucked into my boots, but now im a bit wiser and can afford some better kit ive collected a variety of stuff, like most of us i guess. leather inside, textile outside. |
different suits fit different boots, erm differently
My Frank Thomas Sabre trousers go inside my MX boots, won't fit over the outside - result is wet feet when it rains and a nasty hole in each calf if the zip isn't flattened right/in the wrong place.
The trousers that Pizza Hut gave me are not designed to go in or out of MX boots (I am the only one apparently!) so I have to wear a size too big and get them over the outside - result is my trousers have the waistline of an OAP (near-nipple height) and keep on falling down. The bike they gave me is crap and all! |

What you would ask in the UK - is whether you should wear your TROUSERS on the in or outside! Lol! Wearing your pants (underpants) on the outside of your boots.. well that would be funny! |
not to mention the humurous aspects of Davasto's post that her husband couldn't fit his pants inside his boots because of "18.5 inches of meat" that was already in there....... kudos to mr Davasto!

I may be a bit late with this reply, but I have a pair of SIDI Crossfire boots, and a pair of gortex trousers (unknown brand) with a zip down at the legs.
I have the inner part of the boots inside (the leather part), then the trousers (without closing the zip) and lastly the plastic parts of the boots outside. It is a bit tight to get the pants over the boot (inner part), but it works... |
