Hydraulic drive is probably not the best system for his use , and i suspect he did not do a lengthy proving run ! |

I just saw he had to abandon 'ship' - subsequently after a search Amphibear was recovered by a vehicle with crane/ deck space - he is very fortunate.

Hes been very lucky this time , needs to have a big rethink on what he is trying to achieve , solo amphib round the world looks like not being in the reach of his particular set up, I was a little surprised that his vehicle dimensions didn't get him into trouble on his road trip thru europe. JMHO

Looks like he has had to abandon the project , as the replacement pontoon supplier has taken fright !
He obviously sees more risk in the idea than the guy doing it , probably done him a big favour JMHO |
Meanwhile this amazing old guy has nearly paddled (not sailed) a sort of kayak the long way across the Atlantic.
