READ FIRST - Getting there - shipping the bike database and HOW to ship your bike!
 

UPDATE December 2014:

First place to check for information on shipping your bike is in the Shipping database of Actual shipments by Travellers, (on main menu under Get Ready OR On the Road)! There are hundreds and hundreds of shipments recorded in there, and people are adding to it all the time.

In the same section is information on the why's and wherefores of air and sea, crating etc.

If what you want isn't there, then search the HUBB and this forum, then ask away if you're doing something new and different.

And once you have done your shipment, please add it to the database so that others can benefit from your experience. Take a little give a little! :)
