Tank bag/panniers
 

I've got the large Touratech tank bag (the one with the zip on/off panniers).
I would like to get some bigger bags so I can distribute the weight from the rear to the front a bit better, and get some more storage space.
Any ideas?

Send your bags to a tailor that does luggage repairs and see if they can enlarge your VP45s or alternatively you could dump the tank panniers and use your crashbars as mounting points for larger dry bags.

I'd have a long think about this route though. It's a vulnerable position to put things in and I personally would keep the space limited up front as I'd be tempted to fill it with precious things.

If you look at the Johnson's photo's. They've got metal boxes mounted up front. Maybe ask them if it was a problem with handling / being in the way?
