Seatconcepts upgrade

There is a new option for upgrading your seat. Seatconcepts.com sells new foam and covers for about a dozen different bikes, specializing in dual sport types. You can do the installation yourself or send your seat to them and they'll do it for you. I've just put one on my DRZ400 and it's great. We did a 7 hour day and I was comfortable all the way.

The cost is in the $150 - $160 range + shipping for do it yourself. $20 more if they install. I send my seat pan in and had the finished seat back 7 days later.

There is much more info on ThumperTalk including pictures.

Does anyone know of any replacement foam suppliers or different seat options in the UK?
It would be for a WR 250 F (04)

Nice post !!

Thats about a third of the price of a Corbin..

I have a Corbin on my DRZ400. Im still squirming about on it after 3-4 hours WITH a sheepskin.

Anyone know how these compare to a corbin ??

Ted

Hey Ted-
There is a lengthy thread on ADVrider on the SeatConcepts seats. Haven't had time to read the whole thing but there's a Corbin comparison here. Scroll down to post #96.

Hope your trip's going well & this helps.

Mike
