MX boots size UK 5 for women- where can I find some???

I am going to do some green lane/off road riding soon, but I cannot find any MX boots for women.

The Thor Quadrant seemed to be the only one designed for Women and available in small sizes, but is sold out everywhere pretty much in the UK (and France!).
Other brands doing small sizes tend to be much wider which would not be good for me (and start often at size europe 39 which is a bit big anyway).
Using my road boots are not ideal in term of protection though.

Any woman around who could recommend me a brand that would not be too wide/big for me??? Looking at Alpine Star, Diadora or SixSixOne but they seem to be quite wide. Any feed back on this would be appreciated as no shop stock small sizes boots for men!

cheers,

Hey Maria,

You'll be very lucky to find some - I had the very same problem..........so I looked on Fleabay for a pair and got a really excellent and clean buy for about £16.00. Problem is that they don't seem to make them that small for
' we of the small foot brigade' BUT they do make them for boys who grow out of them very quickly, leaving them almost as new. So if you don't mind secondhand (lets face it, you're going to end up covered in crap and shite anyway) then try that. Or if you don't have any luck, you can borrow mine - I'm not far from you (in Sutton) and still not allowed to ride off road at the mo due to recently fixed broken arms and ribs and a foot.

Sorry, meant to add , try Girls Bike 2 in Dorking. Ali and Hilary are great and will do their best to get you stuff even though they are a road based shop.

Dennis Winters in Beverly, Yorks. usually has small sizes in, bit of a long trip to try them on though.....He is on e-bay

Not off road but nice boots, cheap.

Size 37 only. Nice SIDI boots for very good price:

Thanks for your comments guys.

In the end, I found out that there is a hell a lot of choice in the US: boots, fantastic MX trousers ...

So I ordered a pair of FOX COMP 5 (black and pink!) and a couple of trousers because they are relatively cheap and so different from what you find this side of the planet!

The guys at that site were helpful and fast to answer when I queried about sizing so I will put the link for whoever may want to get similar gear:

Motocross Gear RidersDiscount.com

AS quite few ladies are local (south London / Brighton etc...) I may try to organise a Sunday meet at BoxHill on a Sunday afternoon, some time in August if you want to check out the gear and the fairly ow Rieju Tango MX 250 bike.

Cheers,

Maria

size five?
i know you have some now, but in future you could try stores that sell MX gear for kids?
i have the opposite problem, my son is a size 9 adult shoe and 5'8" but hes only 12yrs old, and still "kid" shaped if you know what i mean. so hes adult large size body but all the arms and legs are 6" too long, with pads in the wrong places.

The problem with children (or youth boots) is that they would be too short up the leg.
I went last saturday to a small MX shop in Surbiton and I had a good chat with the lady owning the business about that. What I did buy is a second hand pair of kids knee protectors, they fit perfect! And for 10 pounds can't go wrong!
