yamaha xt600e 2002 turns over but won't starting
 

yamaha xt 600E 2002
am new to this so i'll do my best to provide info.
recently change the oil filter and air filter.
i thought the carb needed to clean and cleaned it and put the mixture screw about 2 turns out i believe but turns out it was the manifold and i changed it.
it started couple days ago but didn't want to idle.(the mixture screw was 1.5 turns out) had to go work so i left it when i got the chance and came back to it, it just turns over.
battery is good. i get spark, i get fuel. is in neutral.
is it just being trouble some for me.
am no mechanic so
any other info you need just ask.

Turn the screw back in and turn it 2,5 out again and try, check that you have all clamps thighten up and no leaks.

This is from a fellow newbie to mechanics and I apologise if it seems obvious but I had this problem after pulling the carb out four times, checking the mixture screw, cleaning all the jets and then changing them for new. Turns out I had forgotten to twist the idle screw back in. When I did it worked just fine. Hope it works for you.
