XTZ supermono and sprocket help
 

Well, after the successful Supermoto attempt (another track day planned as soon as weather turns nice...) , looks like i am getting deeper into Yamaha singles, here's the new build:

due to the high gearing for this application, I am looking for a 17T front sprocket, it should have this spline http://www.jtsprockets.com/fileadmin...rge/jtf577.jpg

JT or AFAM dont make one, biggest is 16T, but maybe someone knows of a source?
Cant believe that this spline is used only for the 660's. not looking fwd to machining hard steel in order to weld a 17T sporcket on a XTZ spline, but will do if i dont find one.

Are you sure you can fit a 17t sprocket? I can just barely fit a 16T on my xt600.

tnxs jens, the proof of the pudding will have to be of course on track, we'll see..

good point about room, will mock it up first with a 16T and then see what margin I have.
