XT600E wiseco 96mm specification sheet

Hey!

Does anyone happen to have the piston kit specification sheet for a wiseco 96mm 11.5:1 piston? Part number 4596M09600.
I either lost mine or it never came in the box.

I've tried contacting wiseco but they wont respond :(

Google pumps this out

1x WISECO 4596M09600 FORGED 96.00mm PISTON
1x WISECO 3780XH 96.00mm PISTON RING SET
1x WISECO S550 22.00mm WRIST PIN
1x WISECO CW22 22mm ROUND WIRE WRIST PIN LOCKS / CIRCLIPS ( PAIR )

Displacement: 602cc

Bore - Standard: 95.00mm

Bore - Actual: 96.00mm

Bore - Oversize: 1.00mm

Stroke: 84.00mm

Compression Ratio - Actual: 11.5:1
Each forging is designed to optimize the strength-to-weight ratio, and maximize performance. It is designed for the YFM600 Grizzly 1998-2001 - 1.00 millimeter over (1996 millimeter).

Note: Cylinder boring required

No idea if useful

Thank you!
now all I need is the piston to wall clearance.
Google says it should be on the box but the machine shop said they couldn't find it. Hmmm...

well....google says a lot of things....
How close is....all about microns!:smartass:

I use wisecos for some of the road race motors i build and they dont really release much info beyond bore and CR.

but got to ask, what parameter exactly you need to know and why? :)

second question is: are you sure you want 11.5 CR?

That's the CR i run in my XTZ660 supermono racer, and it is already very much on the edge of self grenading, even though it's a water cooled motor that is more resistant to detonation and am using 98 octane fuel + additives.

if its for a high performance every day street/trail motor, would stay under 10:1,

as for 11.5:1, well, dont say we didnt warn you..

I think I'm getting of the wifes' headaches:huh:
Is the box image any good? one on Ebay- Worse scenario, send a message to owner of a set who is selling same on ebay

Do send pics if there is a ...:Beach: it is just not the same without!

I'm trying to find every bit of information there is.

My XT600e is mostly a learning tool and fun project bike.
I'm trying to go balls to the wall with it and if it breaks, it breaks.
Got to learn from the mistakes I make and rebuild. :D

Yes, thank you! Was able to read the clearance from the picture.

my kind of man! i'm also using a flat 98mm wiseco on a 10.5 CR plus a second stage cam shaft internally. biggest upgrade i felt though came through the carb swap.

turboguzzi 23 Dec 2020 10:09

indeed, 10.5 makes sense, 11.5 doesnt...

The flat 98 makes 10:5 CR and the 97 with bulge has 11:5 CR. People in Greece usually put 97 mm with the higher CR and get 50 hp with a better camshaft and double fcr 35s' but those engines lose the xts' reliability. Too many broken engines from people doing wheelies from either not warming up the engine or doing wheelies for a long time, making the engine oil very hard to reach the valve cover etc...
