XT600E rear brake line lenght

Hey everyone!

Can any of you please tell me what's the exact length of the rear brake line for the XT600E?

I think they're all the same length since 1990-2003...(from the middle of the fittings)
Also, what type of bends do the ends of the cable have?

approximately from 0 to 90 degrees, right or left bend...

I want to make a shorter line for my 1990 XT600E but seems someone (my brother) misplaced mine and now I got his from the DT125R that is just too long and is kinda of kinked ...

Mine is off the bike at the moment, but I'm still in my Pyjamas! ;-)

I'll measure it for you today and post up later.

Vando, difficult to tell as I can't hold the line dead straight, and hold a measuring tape at the same time, but it's between 430 and 440mm, from banjo bolt at one end to banjo bolt at the other

Hey pijama boy :P lol

Ya still got the brake line off the bike?
I find it much easier to measure these kind of things with a thin rope and measure it afterwards in a straight line.

I want to order my shorter brake line as I don't really like the way it loops on the side of the swingarm because it rubs of the paint and worse, something can get caught in there!

No sorry, it's back on the bike now. Can still measure it with a bit of string though. Will do it tomorrow.
