XT600E Manifold Inlet Rubbers

Hi all,

I have a 1997 Yamaha XT600e model 4TP that I am restoring. I need a set of Manifold inlet rubbers. All the ones I can find are for the 3TB model and are different to the 4TP model. The part numbers are 4PT-13586 and 4PT-13596. Does anybody know where I can source these used in good condition or if there is an after market equivalent. I have searched almost every website and the only place it appears I can get them is by ordering from manufacturer at eye watering cost for a couple of bits of rubber. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks

HI. I have the same bike and one of the other HUBB members recommended these: KR VERGASER ANSAUGSTUTZEN YAMAHA TT600 XT600 … XT600Z Tenere … Intake carburetor | eBay. They're slightly different to the stock ones in that there is no junction to fit the strange air box that sits above the rubbers but I left it off and haven't noticed any difference.

Hi connal, many thanks for the reply. I have tried it with the none stock rubbers as per your link. Whilst they were good enough to get the bike going, unfortunately they don't appear to work properly on mine. The bike seems to randomly start revving very high when brought to a stop. I can only assume at this point that its because its not breathing properly.

That sounds weird. Mine has never done that. My mechanical knowledge is very limited but are you sure it's not a stuck cable or something on the carb causing that revving?

Not sure, will have to do some more investigation this weekend

sounds like the accelerator cables are a tad tight, does it rev itself at any position of the bars?..left full lock, right full lock etc?..
