XT600E general torque settings
 

Rebuilding my XT600E engine and as I havnt got a manual and cant read german and portuguese, i was wondering if anyone could help me out ??

Need torque settings for engine bolts, rocker cover bolts etc. Clutch nut , Rotor nut, casing bolts.

Also as the bike was stripped sometime ago, has anyone any close up pictures of the head, engine cable routings etc !!

Thanks.. (i am looking for a manual on ebay but bit of a wait)

This is from the Clymer Yamaha XT600 & TT600 - 1983 1989 manual in the "Maintanance and tune-up torque specifications". If this is no good, let me know and I will look further.

Thankyou ! much appreciated... Have you got the torque for the rocker cover bolts ?? Thats the top case that holds the camshaft down. ta

The only ones I can see are under "Enginer top end tightening torques" that don't mention a rocker cover, perhaps the terms are different:

Does any of this sound like what you are after?
