xt 600 shifter question
hello
I have a 1984 xt 600, I am replacing some broken kickstart parts. When the kickstart parts blew apart they jammed up the shifter, I have a question on the part the shifter connects to with the gears on it, does this have to be in a certain possition for it to be able to shift gears.
