where to get 12v for a relay on xt600

Hi

Im going to install symtec warmers and I have bought a relay to control when the symtec gets any power.

The problem is where should I give the relay its power from? I thought about the headlight cable, so that the warmers wont work unless the bike is running and the lights are on.

But does anyone know a smarter place to take 12v power for the relay from?

I find the live wire up to the front brake light switch is a good take off point it means that you will have power any time the ignition is on......

If you are going to put the relay under your seat you could use the same feed on the rear brake switch.

Use a piggy-back lucar connector, then you don't have to start cutting into the wiring either.
