Have you tried Kendas? They are inexpensive. I First tried the K761 they were ok on tarmac but slippery on gravel trails, so I switched to the K270 for better grip off road, 5.10-18 rear and 3.25-21 front. Huge difference, now trail riding is a blast, and they perform well on the tarmac. Check the price, I like them. Mike

weve got michelin siracs on our 1vjs. we like them. im not too keen in the distanzias ( dont like the grooves in the tread following the circumference of the wheel.) ive got avon gripsters on my r100gs and they seem quite good too. tkcs are ace if youre contemplating a bit of trail riding .
