Hi everybody

I have a ttr 600 It will start has a huge spark but only runs for a couple of seconds then dies any one out there with any ideas

Are you getting fuel in the carb? Loosen the float bowl drain screw and see if it runs out continuously. If a steady stream then it can be other blockages in the carb. It sounds like it is lean or low on fuel.

Another thing to check is the screen that sits atop the float valve. You have to remove a single screw then carefully wiggle the brass valve out of the carb body. It may take a pair of pliers to wiggle out.

When you remove the float pin be very careful and NOT drive it out, you can break off the two studs that hold the float. Instead, what I do is use some flush cutting diagonal cutters (dykes) and squeeze in behind the pin head to ease it out.

Your carb could be very dirty with old dried up fuel. If you are not comfortable dissembling your carb, get it done at a QUALITY shop.
