TT600R belgarda oil tank

Question for anyone with knowledge of inside of Belgarda oil tank. Whilst trying to reduce oil in tank I dropped a piece of clear plastic hose about 75mm long and 12mm diameter? Is this a major problem? Obviously I should get it out but not sure when I get chance to remove tank.
However I guess if I drain oil from bike I could lean bike on oil tank side and maybe fish it out with piece wire? I have not had tank out so no idea of what is like physically inside ? Anyone got advice?

those ttr tanks were made form two cast halves bolted together.
you could easily split it and then bolt back together with good sealant
