TT600 - Lockable Fuel Tank

Hy everyone bier !
I'm new here and before I start, please excuse my english, I'm french.

I bought a 2006 TT600RE a week ago. I'm living in a big city and haven't thought about the fuel tank. Indeed, the fuel tank can be opened because of the lack of key locker.

For the moment, the only information I found is to change the fuel tank with a XT600.

Does anyone know another solution, even if I have to modify or maybe "create" something?

Thanks all! bier

Wow! Awesome!

Fast answer and certainly what I'm searching for! This forum is great, I gonna stay :P

I'll check the measures tomorrow as the bike is sleeping in a garage!

Thx anyway. I'll keep in touch!

Sorry for the lack of news, I had such a busy weekend.

Before buying this tank cap, I've seen it's for Acerbis tank first. Do you think it can be added to a plastic tank with just the thread (french is Filetage, to be sure) without modifying the tank?

Thx!

Send question to seller, i dont understand what you are asking sorry.

Simeonn 7 Apr 2015 17:56

Ok, thx. Sorry for my english. ;)

xtrock 7 Apr 2015 17:59

If its your english or my understanding of it i dont know haha.

Simeonn 7 Apr 2015 18:00

Haha, hope the seller will understand my explanations :D

I believe your asking if the threads are the same for both tanks since it states the cap is for the plastic Acerbis tank but doesn't say for the stock tank.

Hows that ?

Simeonn 8 Apr 2015 19:12

Exactly :)
But after asking the seller, he said it's okay for stock tank. But according to the dimensions, it couldn't fit...

So I'm stuck again... :/
