Are tt 600 and xt 600 coils the same?
 

The coil on my 98 tt 600 r decided its had enough, and I am having trouble sourcing another one here in the UK.
Would the coil from an xt 600 of a similar age work?
What other coils could I try?

don't know if this would help BUT...used to swop coils between different versions of z650's and Gpz 1100's...

check out part numbers on ebay for comparison maybe?..

Cheap generic coils are cheap on ebay.
