Tenere 3AJ on ebay
Hello Yam fans,
Begrudgingly, I am selling my tour-prepped 1989 Yamaha Tenere XT600Z ‘3aj (4)’. Although it pains me to see her go! She’s been a legend to me, but is ready for another home as apparently I now need a ‘car’ (a what)??? I’ve put her on ebay and you’ll find a very detailed description of the bike there. Check it out at: YAMAHA Tenere XT 600Z 1989 Motorbike on eBay (end time 05-Oct-09 19:01:53 BST) Any questions ask through the forum or on ebay. If someone from this forum buys her I would consider delivering to the South of England if you’ll pay my petrol and return train to Devon (on a weekend!). Thanks guys. Ed |
Hey there!
Let me bet.. the wife demanded a car? :nono: It's a shame you have to sell the bike! It looks to be in pretty good condition! Vando :cool4: |
Bugger it..... I'd have been interested in buying the panniers & rack system seperately. :frown:
You probably won't get hell of a lot more with them on..... Could take them off the sale & I'll give you a couple of hundred :thumbup1: |
Thanks for the messages
Not far off Bacardi! Bloody women, one of these days I'll find myself a woman who finds single cylinder 80's crossers more attractive than a new mini!
Thanks for the offer Pigford but I had to do some bike mods to the frame to strengthen it for the rack and boxes so I prefer them to stay together. Seems strange, but I just can't bring myself to take it apart. I don't think I've ever been this attached to a machine before! Cheers Ed |
Ed.. you got "canned" car=can lol
Do you really need to get a mini? is it that mini cooper? that's damn expensive! why not get another type of car besides a mini because lets face it, if you do grow a family, where will you fit the kids or extra wifes? on the roof? :nono: AND you could probably keep the bike! Vando :smartass: |
Nice!
You're absolutely right. If I do grow a family they could fit in the panniers for at least 2-3 years and the bird on the back!
