Suspension adjustment + what year?
 

Hello, I keep bottoming out my front suspension and I was wondering is there any way to make it stiffer??

Also, I can't identify exactly what year my bike is, all I know is that its an xt600 with a 3AJ engine and the clutch is on the left side. What are the other ways of identifying the year are there?? Thanks

oh yeah, Another thing is..is there a way of fitting a kick-start?? There is a plastic cover over where it says " kick start ", I don't mind electric starts but I would prefer to have a kick aswell!

It sounds like you have a 3TB model which ran from 1991 to 1995 as it was replaced by the 4pt model in 1996 which has the clutch cable running on the right side instead of the left.
A good way to check is take the seat off and look on top of the air intake and it will have the model number stamped into it or check the cdi box and it should have the model number on a sticker.
Also the 3TB model uses the exhaust as part of the frame where the later 4pt model doesnt.
