Just received an email by the Blackbird racing company.. "Dear Vando, I'm sorry but I sent you the wrong picture of our code 1239/02 for Yamaha XT 600 96-03. In attachment you can find the truth picture of the seat cover in blue with black sides. So if you buy on our web site the 1239/02 you will receive this one. But 400USD is too much even for my arse lol These cost about about 90USD with shipping! I've payed 40€ before to a man whom makes Napa works..in gray and it was pretty good.. awolxt: Just got their email... their black version is the all black seat cover I posted above.. Well.. the XT600E from 1990 to 1995 are all the same but the seat changed in 1996 up until 2003 when they stopped making the 600E..

My previous seat was done by an old guy that lives around here.
I haven't done seat covers yet.. Would like to try someday but doubt it'll be with this one next one. Vando |
4PT & 2KF seatcovers.
Hi.
Single colour & 2-tone 4PT covers are in the pipeline - sorry for the wait! I only start to sell my covers once I've had the first samples back and fitted a few myself. I have to buy lots of seats - (and there are more colour/logo combinations of 4PT than any other XT600 seat) - send them off for patterns to be made and fitted, get them back, check them out and fit some...etc, etc...All takes ages! The moment I have stock, they'll be in the ebay shop. 2KF also - I wasn't 100% happy with the original pattern, so I'm having new ones made. New foams coming soon too as many early 34l/55W seats have collapsed or become very soft. Best wishes. David. |
