Rear T63 on a 3TB?

Both my 43F and my mate's 3TB are wearing Michelin T63s on the front now. We are both well impressed - for a knobbly tyre they are impressive on warm, dry tarmac and good on the gravel of Salisbury Plain.

He still has a road based tyre on the back (well, what is left of it after the inner tube gave out last weekend anyway) and is looking for a tyre to suit the front T63.

He might be able to get hold of a cheap T63, so has anyone fitted a T63 (130 x 17) to the rear of the 3TB and is there any mucking about required to accomodate the width?

TIA.

Jim

I have a 929 fireblade where tyre choice is everything, if she doesn't like her boots she will let me know:eek3: for adventure riding I use a klr 650c shod, f+b with T63s, top class tyre, I thought knobbly tyres would be a scary task on wet tar, not so with the t63...............Keep her sideways:thumbup1:
