So after more than 40,000 miles through 38 countires in 11 months what went wrong with my 9 year old XT600? The speedo cable broke and I had to replace one oil seal and the starter switch. And that was it.
Three days after getting home I took it for an MOT test and the only thing wrong with it was a deteriorated numberplate.

I guess you've been on the road a couple years? funny, I think I only ever heard about your ride on other riders Ride Reports? Maybe here or on ADV rider? I'm not a fan of blogs. With yours I couldn't tell where it starts, where it ends and some of the links had no pics. Way too much navigation for me, sorry.

Did you post someplace else during your ride or only did your Blog?
I'd love to see an edited version of your blog for the Ride Tales Forum here on HUBB. Full size pics, easy to use and update .... and ALL chronological, which makes it east to follow along.

I only posted on the blog I'm afraid but I'm working on some country specific posts to add to the Ride Reports forum.
