I have just been to buy a new Chain & Sprocket set for my 1989 XT600. As an Ex-Pat living in Spain, with a minimal (yes, its my fault, i know) grasp of the lingo, I sometimes feel as if the shops are taking the lend of me... which is all well and good, but 225 euros?????:nono: not even Izumi or DID!!! I politeley declined, I know I live 30km Inland, and that Elda is not a big town, but its big enough! 12-15,000 inhabitants, no need for rip off prices. anyway, to my point, i grabbed a copy of RIDE magazine sent to me by a friend and looking on the net ......found a company in the UK called Wemoto Home brilliant!!!!

i went nuts! New front wheel bearings, sprocket carrier bearings, tacho cable, 2 oil filters, DID Heavy ~Duty O ring Chain and Sprocket Kit, PLUS post and packing to Spain.......the total? 160.35 euros!:D not bad eh? and you can pay by card or paypal

I too have used Wemoto who are based just down the road from me in Hove, West Sussex. They are very good and their prices are great compared with Yamaha dealers.

Pity this link is in the Yamaha sction, as they have parts for other makes as well. They even do different gear ratios for my DR.
