Need XT
 

While I was posting my last topic in early Jan, my xt was being stolen from work.
Security my arse. I need a replacement, I can afford up to €2000(£1400Stg). I live in Ireland but can get to UK for the right XT.
I need another one, I miss it too much.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
It would be much appreciated.

In Italy there are a lot for sale cheap. Look on the internet, or maye someone here can help.

There is a member who I think lives in wales. he contacted me a few weeks ago as he is or was selling an XT600 which was all modified for a RTW trip with rebuild and panniers etc.. It was going for about £2000. Look through for sale category and past XT posts.

I've got a very decent 88 Tenere, white, approx 46,000 kilometres, recent import from Italy, goes very well, does 65mpg, rack and frames for soft panniers, small dent on tank. I've had it since October and done 7,000 kilometres on it. It's just had a big dealer service. You can have it for £1,400 sterling as that's nearly what I paid for it. I'm in Derbyshire and am only thinking of selling it because it's too big for the type of off-roading I like to do round here. I'm going to get something smaller.

Thanks for your replies, got wind of a fresh batch of XT's coming into England from Italy.
So I hope I can get the pick of the batch and get myself a good one for the right money. Thanks again.
