Me too:(

I just can't find a problem - It has compression, fuel and a spark.
It's going to the bike shop this weekend - if they can't find a problem then I'm up the creek:helpsmilie:

Alex, if you turn off the fuel a couple hundred yards before you finish riding, the bowl will have emptied and not leave any residue. It also will help starting because there will be fresh fuel in teh carb when you turn teh tap on to start. Note though it can take a minute or two to completely fill a dry carb, so turn on te fuel, then put your gear on before trying to start.

Plug is new - it was changed when the engine was built.
