Save $6-$8 grand depending how much one of those bikes sell for over there, and buy new plastics and have professionally painted along with whatever else needs to replaced with new and painted/polished to bring it up to standards wished for, easy !

I'm trying to get some opinions if the color or style is outdated or something like that... xts' in Greece right now are worth 1.75 k euros if they are in good condition etc... with 6-8 k you can probably get a big adventure bike with low mileage...:scooter:

Ride safe, been down the road with accident on motorcycle and even with gear its not pretty. Recomend body armour if you want air and protection in hot days. Bet you have some nasty accidents down there with shorts and t shirts, never know who is out there driving.:palm::thumbup1:

Something like 85%-90% accidents are within 20-25miles from home . really a person gets so familiar with the area that you pay less attention to what going on so things happen . I know a guy that woke up at night hearing some teenagers were having a party down at a pond he owned about 1/2 mile away . He hopped on his bike with only shorts , no shoes even (Honda Magna), took off down the paved road and nearing the driveway hit the front brake hard(new front tire that was harder than he was used to) and it washed out . Took skin and meat off down to the bones in many places including top of both feet . All the kids took off and left him laying there , he had to walk home, with a blood trail to call an ambulance . Spent a year healing , figured he was only going 35-45mph.
