Michelin Desert Race on a TT600R
 

Has anyone fitted 140-80/18 Michelin Desert Race rear tire to the TT600R?

I keep reading how its a really big and wide tire, and everybody says to check for fitment issues first. Apparently a 140 width Michelin tire is wider than other brands of same size, so it could potentially be too wide and rub the swingarm or cause problems under full suspension compression.

The Yamaha manual says the size is OK, but I'm not sure with regards to the Desert Race.
