leaking oil and crankcase full of oil

Im looking for ideas here. My 89 tenere is leaking oil from what looks like the left side crankcase behind the sproket. I have also just notice when i take the plastic cover off to turn the motor by hand the case is full of oil.
I have had it off a couple of times and i have replaced all the gaskets and o rings. I have not been able to check to see if the case is warped because i am on the road to NZ, currently in croatia.
If anyone could steer me in the right direction i would appreciate it. Im running out of ideas

thanks

Hi

With regards to the oil filling the left hand cover, this was refered to in a message last week. Oil will drain down from the tank, if the bike has been left standing, and is normal.
Have you checked it after the bike has been ridden for a while?
As for the leak behind the sprocket, have you checked the oil seal on the mainshaft?
You will need to take the sprocket off to see. They go fairly frequently, and are a simple job to replace.
Good luck Dave

sorry, i forgot a few bits of info. I have been watching the other post but mine seems excessive amounts, when i take the cover off with the bike level oil runs out. this was when doing the tappets after letting the bike stand overnight after a big day of riding. It was a lot more that the other two teneres we checked at the same time after the same riding and resting. I thought the excessive oil may help point to why it is leaking out of the bike aswell.

The reason i think it is the crankcase is that there was a small leak when in bought the bike. I traced it to the crankcase, pulled it off replaced the o rings and gaskets and when i put it back on the leak got a lot worse. although i did pull the sprocket off at the same time to find the leak i dont think this effected it.
