Lack of power.
 

If it feels like your 600 is missing 10-15Hp, check the vacuum side. Twice the rubber has slipped away from the space it supposed to be in and vacuum is gone, feels like a new bike when you fix this. Maybe some of you have rubber that is broken too, so check it if bike feels like a 350..

I checked the vacuum line and that didn't help. I had a skilled mechanic go throuh the bike and he quickly located the problem, and I quote:

"I found the reason why you have no power and it feels as if you're riding a sick 250: it appears you own a KLR 650!"doh

And he was right...

I believe he means the diaphragm for the vacume operated slide, now the Kawi issue I don't know how to fix thatdoh. The Kawi quads did/do tend to have poor intake flow that really robs power.:stormy:
