Where could i buy a kickstart kit for a 04 tt600re and are they hard to install.

The kick mecanism never changed from 83 to the last TT600R that used it.
You need:
Kick Lever.
Kick shaft.
Oil seal for your clutch casing.
New clutch cover gasket.
De-engage parts & spring peg.
Idler gear (the shims & clips are already in your TT600RE)
All this stuff is regularly on Ebay.

im thinking of doing the same to my 03 xt600 4pt. i have been offered the botom end for the price of the postage.the problem is we dont know the model so was wanting to know if all XTs use the same parts for the kick start.thanks . Any tips on this job ?

I believe the job is a bit bigger on the newest xt engine because of the position of the clutch/clutch-arm.

I would love one aswell, but I really dont know what I would do with it....It would be just for looking cool down in front of the guys...:scooter:.
