K&N Air Filter on a 1984 XT600

Hi Everyone, has anybody replaced the original air filter with a K&N Air Filter on a 1984 XT600, and if so has there been any advantages over the normal air filter.

Yes, I replaced the filter on my '83/'84 bike, as the original foam had started to fall apart. Can't say I've noticed any vast power increase, to be honest. Probably the most noticeable change is that I've now got a K&N sticker on the swingarm :innocent:
