Just back from MoT and thought i would show off my new Mitas E07s. The 130/80/18 rear lifts the saddle height a bit as well, which is good for me! I now have an Arrow muffler to fit.

Nice bike!....always a good feeling with a nice fresh mot pass eh!

What tires did you have before that, since the Mitas lifted the rear?

Last year I had a cheap trail knobbly thing 4.60/18. Lasted about 1500 miles! But prior to that a 120/17 avon distanzia. This Mitas just looks a chunky tyre and is clearly an inch or more in diameter than last tyre.

A inch from 4.60 to the new 80 profile seems alot, both are knobby tires..what you need is a new exhaust, to much resistance in that endpipe with the straw ;) This one will do the trick on your bike http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rear-Fende...0AAOSwpDdVEoHm

Mitas looks good. But how chunky are they against. Tkc80. And how big a width can you go on the back.130/140?. Ive just took of my loud can an put on a std can from a kl600..sounds much better..

140, TKC is not sold as 140 in 17. I have 130 its wide enough.

I don't know coz i ain't done it, but I can presume that 140 width would seriously reduce mud clearance.
I picked up a used Arrow can because my std muffler has rusted away in the usual place, so I was worried that my bodge wouldn't satisfy the MoT. And yes I hate noisey exhausts, but needs must.....£80 lovely stainless Arrow versus £300+ mild steel weigh a ton standard Yam.
