Ignition pickups

Hi all,I've got a XT600 43F,kickstart model and when I bought it I was given spare generator & casing.I bought the bike of my mate & he said the generator was duff as the lights/indicators were dying at low revs but when he revved the bike up they worked fine, so he fitted a used generator to the bike,problem solved.
Seeing as I've rebuilt the bike,new gearbox,oil pump, cylinder resleeved etc.I've decided to get the original generator rewound but the ignition pickups look as if they've been bashed somehow.Can someone please tell me if these ignition pickups are normal,and if not have you got any idea whats caused the wear?They look slightly mushroomed.
thanks Mark

normal

They look normal to me. If the resistance figures are correct, they are OK.

Thanks for the reply Aukeboss.
I thought they would be good as my mate said the bike ran with this pickup/alternator it just was'nt charging correctly.I just needed a second opinion as they look slightly mushroomed.
The readings I got were;
Source coil 189 ohms,should be between 160-240 ohms
Pickup coil 217 ohms, should be between 90 & 120 ohms
Charge coil should be between 0.2 & 0.6 ohms,my meter's not sensenitive enough to read that one.
I'll send it away for a rewind.
Mark
