How big is my plug?
 

I'm about to order a Trail Tech computer for my bike and need to know the thread diameter of of my spark plug. The engine temperature sensor fits round the thread of the plug in a little copper (I think) ring, so obviously it needs to fit snugly, and comes in various sizes.
Unfortunately my bike and I live apart and I'm not going to be able to get access to it for a couple of weeks, so I can't just go and whip out the plug and and measure it. The bike is a 2003 Yamaha XT 600E.

I don't suppose anyone happens to know what the plug diameter on this bike is, or alternatively knows an online resource where I can find out?

I think its M12.

Definatly 12mm.Just make sure when putting the plug and wire back in,your plug socket is narrow or it will get caught on the wire and break the copper ring.
If it does break,it'll still work,but may not seal very well.Also make sure you tuck the wires away from anything that could crush them etc as they're a very very thin wire.
