HIGH Oil Pressure

Hey guys, So my 84 XT600 with a 3TB clutch cover has a high oil pressure problem. I say high pressure because oil is starting to seep out of the valve cover, crankcase, viewer plugs, oil tank, ect. Its a very slow seep so I'm not losing tons of oil. I've made sure the oil isn't over filled and haven't been able to find a clog anywhere. Any ideas ?

Sounds like problems with crankcase-ventilation.

I will definitely check that mezo. The oil barely reads on the dip stick.

Cant seem to find that part in the catalog?

You could check it at the bleed on the oil filter housing if you make a suitable adaptor..I'm assuming the later cover still has the small bleed screw a top,but if its reading low with the correct amount of oil in it,the crankcase is likely full as mezo points out.
Alternatively the engine breather pipe maybe squashed or trapped?good luck with it.

ok thanks, found it under the oil pump, how do you get acess to change this?

I think you are right Mezo. All my oil lines and breather pipes are free from clogs or being pinched. Going to open it up this frida.
